Blood Memory (Mongol Moon) eBook

Philip Voodoo began writing in the hills of Afghanistan and the deserts of Iraq, where as a US Army infantry officer he produced riveting OPORDs, SITREPs, AARs, and the occasional clever response to a 15-6 investigation. As one of a select few literate infantrymen, he spent years helping his former comrades with their own memoirs, wartime novels, and legal defenses before turning to his own work.

He built a following writing military history threads on X, and his nonfiction has appeared in IM_1776, Scrublands, and Dissident Review.

Voodoo contributed short stories to both volumes of Apocalypse in Pieces, the shared-world anthologies set in Mark Sibley's Mongol Moon post-apocalyptic universe, before writing Blood Memory: an embassy evacuation turned 1,400-mile convoy across central Africa in the opening days of the Third World War. His debut novel holds 4.9 stars on both Amazon and Goodreads, the highest-rated title in the Mongol Moon line.

After a lifetime of working, living, soldiering, and traveling abroad, Voodoo lives south of the Mason-Dixon line and is a loyal Delta flyer. He writes only when he drinks or flies.
