R is for Ranger!

My cousin was a Batt Boy and I was one of those Special Friends. He recommended this book to me so I picked up a copy. Burned through the first book... couldn't put it down! Fast forward to ordering and reading the rest of the series, and then the Thor series, and sharing the books with my dad (old Nam vet). We can't get enough! Now we are all stuck in hurry-up-and-wait mode with full rucks on waiting for the next books in the series to come out (:

Legit one of my favorite series

It’s a great lead in to a very fun series. I’ve highly recommended it to just about everyone I know. I can’t get enough of this world they call the Ruin.

Solid military fantasy

If you like fantasy, sci-fi, guns, endless orc machine gun fodder, and all of the above, you won’t be disappointed with this book. It opens up with action. ‘Nuff said. You DON’T want me to go on a multi-paragraph long tirade about how I’m writing to no one in particular in this shit show? You want me to continue about how this battle went down? Tough. I need to not break the flow of the story like I don’t need coffee, so myeh.” No, I did not forget to write this review. Stop asking questions. 9.9 (rounding up)/10 would read more about a sentient Carl G and the flesh puppets it keeps as pets.
